Jeanne's French toast

NOTES:

1. Use Striata rolls from Turtle Bread, 1 for each person.

2. A griddle helps cook more pieces simultaneously.

3. Use lots of butter on the griddle.

4. Let the bread soak for a bit to pick up the flavors in the half-and-half mixture.

5. Recipe below serves 2.


INGREDIENTS

Bread sliced into 1/2" thick pieces
2 eggs
2-4 Tbl of Half-and-half
2 tsp of almond extract
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tsp orange juice
butter for griddle
syrup
powdered sugar
