TIP: Thickening beef stew

Basically, it requires mixing equal parts cornstarch to water to form a goopy paste and then adding it to the thin stew/gravy.  Maybe start with 2-3 tsp at a time, depending on how much stew you have to thicken...

Be sure to allow enough time after adding the mixture for the flavors of the stew to blend with the cornstarch.
