Chili Mac


Onion (sweet if available), minced
Garlic cloves, minced
Mushrooms, sliced
1 small carrot, shredded
Pasta sauce
Tomato paste
Ground beef
Parmesan

1. Sauté onion, mushroom, garlic, carrot in olive oil or canola oil.

2. Add beef to sauteed vegetables and brown it.

3. Add tomato paste (a few Tbl) and pasta sauce to glaze the beef pretty heavily.

4. Add a bit of water to pasta sauce jar, swish it around, and pour remains into skillet.  Heat thoroughly.

5. Serve with shredded parmesan.
