DIY Baking Spray

Ingredients

1/2 C vegetable shortening

2/3 C flour

1/2 C vegetable oil

Instructions

1. In a standing mixer and using the paddle, add the vegetable shortening and flour, and beat on medium low until smooth, about two minutes.

2. With the standing mixer still running, drizzle in the oil and beat until smooth, about another minute.

3. Store in a sealed container (like a small canning jar), and use a pastry brush to spread it on surfaces before baking.
