Quick Chocolate Ice Cream

From our Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker instruction booklet.

Use a high quality chocolate syrup.
Make sure a freezer bowl is ready!
Makes 10 small servings.

Homemade syrup can be made ahead of time.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups heavy cream
1 cups whole milk
1/2 cup fine chocolate syrup, such as this homemade recipe
2 Tbl sugar
(optional) 1/2 tsp almond or vanilla extract

PREPARATION

1. In a medium bowl, place all ingredients and combine until well blended.

2. Pour into freezer bowl that is set up in ice cream machine. Turn machine on and let mix until it thickens, 20-25 mins.

3. Transfer ice cream to airtight container and freeze.
